Your Profile

Your player profile is your identity on Tabletop League. Here's how to make it yours.

Profile Settings

Access your profile settings from Dashboard > Edit Profile:

Display Name

Your public display name shown in brackets, leaderboards, and match history. Choose something recognizable to your local community.

Avatar

Upload a profile picture or avatar. Supported formats: JPG, PNG, GIF (max 2MB).

Bio

Add an optional bio to tell others about yourself, your favorite games, or your competitive history.

Privacy Settings

Friendly match privacy

Friendly matches are the casual, non-tournament games you log outside a competition. They are private by default: hidden from everyone except you and your opponents. A private friendly doesn't appear on your public profile, its match page shows "not found" for anyone else, and it's left out of search. Its abstract result still counts, though — which hero beat which, on which map flows into aggregate stats like win rates and tier lists, without exposing that you played it.

To share your friendly matches, go to Settings > Profile and turn on Share my friendly matches publicly. Two things to know:

  • Both players must opt in. A friendly only becomes public when every participant has opted in. If your opponent keeps their friendlies private, the match stays hidden for everyone — either player's privacy wins.
  • It only affects friendlies. Tournament, league, and ladder matches are always public; this setting never touches them.

Leaving the toggle off keeps your casual games private while your competitive history stays public as usual.

Linked Accounts

Connect external accounts for easier login and verification:

  • Google
  • Discord
  • Other gaming platforms

Deleting Your Account

You can delete your account yourself from Settings > Account. Because match results and standings belong to your opponents too, deletion works by anonymizing you rather than erasing shared history.

What happens when you delete

  1. Immediately — you're signed out everywhere and your account is deactivated. To confirm, you type your username (a deliberate step so a stray click can't delete anything).
  2. 30-day grace period — changed your mind? Just sign back in within 30 days and the deletion is cancelled automatically. Nothing has been removed yet.
  3. After 30 days — your account is permanently anonymized. This cannot be undone.

What's kept vs. deleted

Your opponents' records stay complete — matches you played still show a result, just against an anonymous "Deleted Player". Discord roles granted through competitions are removed after the deletion is finalized.

If you run an organization or competition

You can't delete your account while you're the only owner of an organization or the only organizer of a competition that's still running. The Account page lists exactly what's blocking you, with links — add another owner/organizer or wrap up the event first, then delete.

Your Dashboard

The dashboard is your home base for:

  • Upcoming Matches - Your next scheduled games
  • Recent Results - Your latest match outcomes
  • Active Competitions - Events you're currently participating in
  • Quick Stats - At-a-glance performance metrics

Notification Preferences

Choose how you want to be notified in Settings > Notifications:

  • Push Notifications - Receive push notifications on your device even when the app is closed. Enable from the Notifications tab and choose which categories to receive:
    • Match results
    • Tournament updates
    • Upcoming matches
    • Announcements
  • In-App - Notifications appear in your notification bell when browsing the platform
  • None - Check the platform manually
